A typeface inspired by Jonathan Barnbrook and a poster advertising an exhibition of his at the Barbican.
Barnbrook often sources his type designs from old, forgotten alphabets. Therefore by using the Phonecian alphabet as a source; the typeface would exemplify Barnbrook and his work. I formed shapes which were similar to those in the phonecian alphabet but also picked up on details in Barnbrook's fonts such as crosses for T's and suchlike. As for the poster I linked the font together to make for a more dynamic way to present my type.
